Running out of money fast Michael, Mark and Baz continue the Aussie experience in Programme two by getting jobs as deckhands on the Eureka II sailing boat. Working for Captain Max and his assistants Gleno and Chriso, the boys cook, clean, massage, sail and entertain for everyone on board the boat - you name it they do it all for a free passage around the Whitsunday Islands! How much lower can you go?? Arriving at Hamilton Island where Captain Max has booked them a treat - a night on the resort in the Palm Terrace Hotel for their hard work! They head out to Myella Farm stay in Barbala where they get jobs as farm-hands - you would think with Michael's culchie background he would take to it like a duck to water but no its Baz who saves the day, however not too hot with the horses is our Baz! Is the usual piss taking humour all in good nature, or has Michael's snoring become too much to bear as the boys sleep in the wilderness? Leaving Barbala they travel to Rockhampton stopping off at the Great Western Hotel. A rodeo event is on that night and the manager Andrea asks the boys do they want some work in exchange for a roof above their heads and some cash - being hard working men that they are they accept to help the lady out! Mark finds out its illegal to be gay in Queensland (or so he was told), so the boys attempt to teach him to walk like a 'real man.' Rodeo proves a challenge - who is brave or stupid enough to ride the bull? The hard work pays off as the boys spend around $30 each on this leg of their journey!
