Final stop of the Aussie Road trip is the city of Melbourne - well known for history and heritage, but more importantly for our threesome, the cultural landmark of Ramsay Street....They board the backpacker bus on the 'Neighbours' tour before getting into their suits and heading to the day which Melbourne is best known for - the horse racing at the prestigious
Melbourne Cup.
With Mark's winnings they have some money to head out to Phillip Island on a Nature day for some fishing, koala spotting and the ultimate penguin tour. The climax of the trip is a convertible cruise along the Great Ocean Road and a ride in a helicopter - the last blow out!

The boys have reached their final destination, Melbourne, Victoria, where the sun may not be shining quite so brightly.but there is plenty to explore. From Ramsay Street to the famous Melbourne Cup, and further a field to the surrounding areas of Phillip Island and the Great Ocean Road.
The City Circle Tram
The City Circle Tram is a free and convenient way to get around central Melbourne. Baz, Michael and Mark manage to entertain/annoy the other commuters, as only they know how.
The tram runs every ten minutes in both directions and is a handy way to see the centre of Melbourne.
Tai Chi on Federation Square
Free Tai Chi lessons in the main square, open to everyone. Held on Tuesday morning between 7.30am and 8.30am.

Melbourne Cup
The $5.1 million Emirates Melbourne Cup is more than just a horse race - it is a 145 year-old social and cultural tradition that literally brings Australia to a standstill.

Brunswick Street
Mark, Michael and Baz take a stroll down Melbourne's very trendy Brunswick Street, Mark kitted out in nautical gear for the trendy Melbourne crowd. They finish up with a drink (in their usual fashion!) at Section 8, which is a unique watering hole fitting snugly into the famous Melbourne lanes.

Phillip Island - Nature Day
Tired of city life, on a sunny day, the boys decide to head to Phillip Island on a Nature Day. Phillip Island is about a two-hour drive from Melbourne and is a reputed coastal getaway. From fishing to koalas to penguins - it's a nature lover's dream.
At Rhyll Fishing Park the idea is that you catch your fish and BBQ it for lunch. Even the boys can't go wrong with the amount of fish waiting to be caught at the park - plus it's a free lunch, so everyone's a winner..

Koala's are one of the laziest animals - sleeping an average of 20 hours a day and eating for a lot of the other 4 - the boys have finally found their animal equivalent. Decked out in koala ears, they have a wander and see if they can actually learn something for a change.

The Ultimate Penguin Tour
What Phillip Island is most famed for are the penguins who waddle ashore each evening and burrow in the sand dunes. It's not a normal experience for the boys to be at one with this type of nature.but yet it's an experience they relish.getting back to nature.

The final ultimate ride is in a helicopter over the stunning and renowned Twelve Apostles, very famous landmarks on the Great Ocean Road.
